Military spouses make great entrepreneurs, and small business ownership can be a transportable vocation that supports frequent relocation-part of the landscape for many military families. The Pathway to Business course introduces military spouses to the key elements of entrepreneurship at no cost.

What is it?

The Military Spouse Pathway to Business program is an in-person or virtual course that introduces military spouses to the key elements of entrepreneurship. The course offers military spouses a dedicated curriculum, peer group, and schedule suited to their needs.

What will I learn?

Military spouses will learn the foundational knowledge required to develop a business plan and to evaluate business concepts. Topics include additional resources available to military spouses for accessing start-up capital, receiving technical assistance, earning contracting opportunities, and more.

What is the difference between Boots to Business and Military Spouse Pathway to Business?

Boots to Business: Reboot (B2BR) brings Boots to Business off the installation, extending access to Veterans of all eras, National Guard and Reserve, and military spouses. Military Spouse Pathway to Business is designed with businesses that are a transportable vocation that supports frequent relocation-part of the landscape for many military families.
